Voice profile

Originally from the UK and sporting natural Received Pronunciation (RP) with just a hint of Cockney, I moved to the Czech Republic in 2002 to become an English teacher (I still am!) and became a voice over artist in 2010, reading audio guides for destinations around the Czech Republic. I've gone on to voice countless audio guides for tourist sites all over Europe and umpteen corporate promos and training videos, many of which I also translate from Czech and proofread, as well as doing radio imaging, commercials, e-learning, documentaries, and character voices for animation and gaming, including performance capture and cut scenes. Being a working musician meant that when the pandemic hit in 2020 I already had the studio equipment and audio engineering know-how needed to continue at home, and now I record and produce almost exclusively from my own studio, where I have a custom built acoustically treated space, a Rode NT1 5th Generation mic through a Steinberg UR44 interface into Reaper on PC, and remote live direct capabilities - everything one could possibly need to record remotely.
