Hi! My name is Heleen Groenendyk. I am a professional Voice-over with a clear, warm and fresh voice. After more than twenty years of experience in the media industry, I dare to say that I know which product needs what in terms of tone of voice. I excel in educational content and related such as documentaries, e- learning and audiobook but I can also do character voices and commercial work. Plus I am a trained singer and actor How come As a child, I would record my own stories on cassette tapes (!) and sing all day long. And that passion for the voice and storytelling has always remained. Creative producer After my studies I started working as a creative producer in the media industry. One of my first jobs in the profession was providing the voice direction for the stop-motion series Miffy and her friends. Super fun and magical!! I was sold:) Most fun In the productions I worked on, I actually got behind the microphone myself more and more often.. And that's how I got into the profession. Because of all the fun things I've had the pleasure of doing so far, I think this is the most fun! Flight hours and development In addition to the necessary flying hours spent in practice (which ultimately teaches you the most!), I personally find a lot of overlap between the disciplines of using your voice as a voice-over/voice actor and singing. Now it is certainly not the case that every voice-over likes to sing. But I do!. For both practises I work with the Estill Voice Training system.
